someone so young should not have to hear this.

You should not have to bear this kind of weight on your head.

Something this heavy was meant for someone else.

This was meant for someone with broad shoulders who can carry such a heavy hardship.

Not you.

This was meant for someone with a strong back, who has towed a cart like this before…

one loaded down with such a burden.

Not you.

Something like this should be reserved for someone else, someone who is toward the end of their life;

Someone who has lived out their days, if I can say that with no offense?

Not you who are just starting to live and who has so much more to do.

Who has so many years left.

You don’t need to hear this.

Not you.

But you did hear it and it’s something that can’t be taken back.

If possible you may be able to learn from it; maybe even grow from it.

But in the end…
